I have too. they are totally annoying. Better than invites to see some woman's "stuff" though! Haha!

Oh, you are SO right...I guess I should consider myself lucky then! ha ha!!!

Ugh. That IS creepy. I used to get a lot of them, but then I changed my account to not being searchable in the public pages or whatever it says, and they stopped. I don't know if that's related or not. I do still get an occasional "Neighboring" by one of those things, but FAR less, and usually when a lot of my neighbors do, too, so I guess I'm seen on their Neighbors pages.

Or maybe I've just been lucky lately....

ah, yes... I love SBA loans! *lol* I've gotten several things like that... hate 'em. Or when actors publicists start blogs for them. Hate that, too. Oh, and all of the bands. I need to take music out of my interests so I stop getting them.

Gr.

If people are going to "neighbor" me and send me stuff, I want it to be people I LIKE!

Yeah. YEAH!!

I hate it when someone neighbors me and I'm all excited to go find out who they are, and it turns out to be a creepy marketing (or other kind) of blog!

Maybe I need to change that, too. Good idea! It's not like I get a ton of these or anything, they're just often enough to be annoying...
Oh! that's right! I deleted all my "Interests," too, a while ago.
That is why nearly all of my posts are neighborhood only. And if I get added to someone's neighborhood based on a public post, I check them. I had a religious write "stalking" me with her posts and email...I blocked her on my email account and finally managed to get rid of her.
That's definitely creepy...I've blocked all of these weird scams I've gotten. It's nice that we can do that when we need to.
No you are not the only one. Over consumption is bad anyway.
